August Newsletter 2013

Greetings Dear Hearts!

By the time you read this, I will be in South Africa!  I covet your prayers for safety and strength and health for me, and for God to have free reign and move mightily amongst the ministers and leadership that is coming to the conference.

I want to share a scripture, some thoughts and give you brief testimony of what God has been doing!  I am so excited!

Matthew 8:5-8  New Living Translation (NLT) The Faith of a Roman Officer

When Jesus returned to Capernaum, a Roman officer came and pleaded with him, “Lord, my young servant lies in bed, paralyzed and in terrible pain.”Jesus said, “I will come and heal him.”But the officer said, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed.

Notice that this was a Roman Officer… connected to the “government of the oppressors,” if you will.  But Jesus never batted an eye in a moment of hesitation as to whether or not he would “get involved, help the man, and heal the servant.”  His immediate response was, “I will come AND heal him.”  So,  1. Jesus immediately connected with the Roman officer, 2. He listened fully, 3. He showed his disposition, His Character and heart by how he answered.  4. Not only did he show it was His will and desire to get involved and to help, but that it was also within His ability to make a change in the situation!

Now let’s look at the Roman officer’s response.   He seems stunned that Jesus so willingly would come to his home, into the midst of his personal life, and help.  He went hoping against hope that Jesus would help.  But he did not expect such intimate involvement: “What! Who am I, that this great man would come into his house?!! Into the midst of his life, even knowing who is was?  The answer was yes, and still is yes today! He will come into your midst and He will heal whatever is broken in your life, if you will let him and only believe!

The Roman centurion answered astonished, “Lord just speak a word from where you are, and I know it will be enough, my servant will be healed.”  Jesus marveled at his faith.  And the servant was healed.

I had a chance to marvel when I was asked to speak via phone to “Calvary Household of Eagles,” in Idah, Nigeria and preach at their Miracle Sunday Service on July 7th.  God gave me a wonderful word (which was recorded and is available on cd for a love offering to handle the mailing cost, or you can view it on you tube if you wish...  @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phHmKAVe5LM) and He showed me several things in the Spirit-several words of Knowledge.  It is one thing to preach with people in front of you, quite another to speak into a headset at 2 am in the morning,  just you and The Lord and the web cam in the room!  I spoke the Word from where I was and just as it says in the Bible, God sent His Word to Idah and healed them!  I spoke stomach pain was leaving and a woman, who had had pain for FIVE years, was healed instantly! She had been to numerous doctors and several hospitals even, but no one could find what was wrong with her.  I saw tumors coming out of bodies and spoke it.  Another woman went home and many fibroid tumors came out of her that night!  She took pictures and brought the pictures in to show for proof!  I spoke of someone with leg and foot pain and God healed a man who had leg and angle pain.  There was also an inner healing that took place. This was all via phone, with no person laying hands on the people.  God touched them.  Hallelujah!  I have been asked to Preach on a regular basis via phone in this church now!  The Pastor said, “Mama, we see how much God loves us that He would use you to call us all the way from America and move in our midst in such miraculous ways.  Our hearts are touched and we are impacted and forever changed Mama!”  He is such a humble man who cares for the people so much.  Who am I that He uses me? But it is my blessing, privilege, and honor to be given this open door at his church.  Praise God!  He gets all the Glory and Honor and Praise.  How wonderful HE is!

Please pray for Pastor P in Pakistan. His father is in the hospital and needs surgery urgently to put 3 stents into his arteries to his heart.  $4000 is required up front before the hospital will do the surgery. He has $1200, thus far.  Please pray for his father’s health and that the Lord continues to sustain him. Every day of delay is life-threatening.  Also, Pastor P. is now carrying the full weight of the ministry on his shoulders, as his father fights for his life. Please pray for the family and the ministry and for the finances.  Thank you!

Pastor Ben in Uganda has been on a week-long crusade and returned Sat. evening.  There were over 29 salvations, many deliverances and healings.  He was deep in the bush, in a very remote area.  He told me that there were about 100 in attendance nightly, and many of these had walked for HOURS to get there!  Also 10 local village pastors attended.  He has been going into remote villages each month and bringing the Gospel as well as encouraging pastors in the area.  Please pray for his safety as he travels and for the finances to continue making these trips to the interior.   There have been about 300 salvations thus far this year!  He sends his love and greetings and thank you for your prayers for him, the family and the ministry.

Pastor Titus in India sends greetings also.  The building project is fully underway to create a home for the Madurai church!  We are so blessed and excited with what God is doing!  Please pray as outreaches continue to the villages and salvations are happening! Here is a collage of the progress of the building!

Thank you for partnering with us as we partner with God!  God bless you, and keep you, and make His face to shine upon you.  God shower you with His Grace.  In Jesus Name.  Amen.

Love,
Nancy, Tom and the Board of Directors
